The only way to promote sustainable fishing in the wild is to practice catch and release.
No matter how good the fish tastes. No matter what the mirror on the wall tells you. Even when eating a particular type of fish makes your skin smoother, turn your skin fairer, increases your libido and what not. If it’s fishing we like, then fish for fun. If it’s eating fish that’s the priority then it’s easier to get the fish from the market.
Stop preaching and bitching. Just do it!
Man …that was so cool ….one thing i need to say is that in spite of what we see(as in others who will keep the fish for ANY reason)
we got to keep practicing it so that there will be a fighting chance for the fish to survive.
And to cjw, that was a great video to remember
Nice combination of footages!
Boss, next time, loose the plastic bag! Looks very much like “buy from market and release” instead of C&R.
Hey JW,
great video! Catch and release is something that I strongly practice. Since all the tasty fish is in the supermarket anyway why bother keeping the ones your catch right?
I’ll be going to KL during the end of this month to visit my family, can you recommend me some tours for some giant snakehead fishing? I’d love to see what the KL fishing scene is like!
