You know what they say about the rainforest… If it doesn’t rain everyday, it rains all day!

And that’s what we encounter on this trip, very wet weather. The good thing about plenty of rain is when the water level rises high enough, the sebarau (jungle perch) will migrate in big numbers into the rivers to spawn. But this is a hit and miss thing as you have to be there at exactly the right time when it happens. And who can predict the weather?!

In these conditions of heavy continuous downpour, you need to take every opportunity you get whenever there is a gap in between.
