Hotspot hotshot: Kuala Rompin, the Sailfish Capital

This billfish tells visitors they have arrived at Rompin. Though marlins are occasional hooked, a sailfish sculpture would have been better represented in this case.

Something like this perhaps is better suited?

  1. Hello bro. You can’t puke if there is nothing in your stomach! You should be able to survive on a little water for that day.

  2. Not really. We ate and drank (no alcohol) as usual as we would on land. In fact first dive was at 7:30am, so a breakfast before and a breakfast after the morning dive everyday for 4 days. Just had to take an anti motion sickness pill every morning at 6:30am to be sure. The Andaman Sea can be very rough at times.
