Thank you so much for valuable experience! This is the first fishing of sailfish for us.
So we’re worried that we can get fish or not like a big fish which we have never seen before. But finally achieved.
We think this is because of your good guide. And the boat was big more than I thought and we were comfortable on the boat.
Your support is much appreciated.
This experience became one of the best memory for my life.
Jiro Namiue – Nagoya Japan

I’m no colour grading expert and I’m still learning to improve. But I thought it may be fun to see side-by-side video quality comparison between the iPhone 11 Pro Max vs GoPro Hero 9 vs Sony RX100.
Trip summary
The weather and conditions was not very good with falling tide all day with little current movement during this weekend trip for the four Japanese friends.
Getting some nice baitfish was not too difficult. However, day one sailfish fishing was not that good with few fish sighted. It was quiet at the fishing ground with few birds around and even fewer fish spotted.
Namiue San had a decent size sailfish on at around 11am but it jumped off after a short fight.
We moved to a different spot after lunch but the sailfish action still did not pick up. Luckily our anglers were kept busy with a mix of other catches.
The Next Day
Day two saw only two anglers as the other two had to return to KL early. The sky was gloomy and wind blowing.
We got a break in the late morning and took the opportunity to head out further to check out a spot and we found many sailfish.
Our two anglers quickly hooked onto and landed a couple of fish in a frenzy that lasted for around an hour or so.
The weather was turning again and we headed to calmer waters for our lunch break. After lunch the two satisfied anglers decided to head in early to have an early drive back to KL.
