Mid-November normally signals the start of the Northeast Monsoon in Kuala Rompin, indicating the end of the fishing season.
Steve’s trip at the beginning of November almost did not materialise, much to his chagrin. Two days before his trip, the sky over the east coast of Peninsular Malaysia suddenly turned black and strong winds blew-in.
Fortunately, Steve had extra days to spare having planned an extended holiday on his first visit to Kuala Lumpur. So we moved things around and pushed his trip back a couple of days. All he had to endure though, is the extra days sightseeing the city alone.
