Nobody likes a sad ending, but sh*t happens. It takes a good-sized mahseer to open up a hook. Watch this short video below of Yusaku-San running down the treacherous terrain over three pools playing this thai mahseer only to have the hook open up. What a bummer but that’s fishing. It is not too bad though as we caught and landed many mahseers each day.
