The answer is us! We release mahi-mahi and other good eating fishes, too, when no-one wants to take them.
It’s a simple system that we employ, when a good “table fish” is being brought in, the question will be raised if anyone wants to keep the catch.
This will help us decide if the fish will be netted, gaffed, unhooked or cut-off.
The exception are billfish, no question necessary as ALL Rompin sailfish are released.
