Mix Bag For Joachim And Jennifer

Joachim and Jennifer says they want to catch sailfish and mix that with other species, if possible, during their end March trip to Kuala Rompin.

So we targeted sailfish on day one and caught a couple before the weather turned a bit windy later in the afternoon.

The next day, we targeting the other pelagic and also bottom dwellers. We actually caught quite a few fish (did not photograph many of them). One fish that we tried hard to get however, eluded us, that is the spanish mackerel.

Instead, we keep getting queenfish after queenfish and barracuda after barracuda, even one or two longtime needlefish. There could have been one or two spanish mackerel amongst those that got away.

A sailfish jumping or swimming towards the boat at high-speed is always a challenge to keep on the hook
