We were lucky to get out from the intense afternoon thunderstorm but it was a tough day out fishing for peacock bass with Bob and Revo. Fortunately, Bob managed a nice peacock bass estimated at around 50cm (20 inches) in length early in the morning.
The peacock bass could be in the pre-spawn stage and if they start biting in about two weeks from now this theory will prove to be correct.
Made a short video from today shot entirely with the HTC Re camera that I have been messing around with lately.
That peacock bass was caught on a Berkley Gulp! soft plastic rigged with an Owner Bush Rider jig head.
hey guys.
mind telling me where that lake is?
Hi Baihaqi, this is in Puchong. Please practice catch and release to ensure sustainable fish stock and promote fishing as a sport.
Hi jw. Thanks for your reply.
Puchong was my initial thoughts. More specifically, the lake with the D’Island development.
Anyway, im not really into fishing, just have an interest in getting myself an inflatable boat, particularly the sevylor 360. Mind sharing me your thoughts on affordable boats?
Hi Baihaqi, if it’s boating I’d choose a cleaner and more scenic pond or lake to go to. Much more peaceful, cleaner air and water.
Boat selection wise, you need to ask yourself what is your main purpose and take into consideration practicality so that you can make the right decision and buy a boat you’ll be happy to own.
