Nick Ooi, a name that is no stranger to many fly fishers in the region. He is the owner of Tacklebox Adventures, and the pioneer of fly fishing in Malaysia.
Nick is a certified FFF Casting Instructor. He teaches and organized many local and overseas sport fishing trips and enjoys sharing his casting and tying.
Nick has been tying flies more for than 10 years. With his wide knowledge in fishing and entomology, he designed many successful fly patterns specifically for the Malaysian waters. His Tacklebox split tail and Woolly Bugger are the must have patterns in fly boxes of all local fly fishers!
