Fish for Taimen in Mongolia – One of The Last Freshwater Giant
Mongolia is home to the legendary Taimen (Hucho taimen), the largest salmonid species in the world. These apex predators inhabit remote river systems across Northern and Central Mongolia, offering one of the most exclusive freshwater fishing experiences globally.
Sport Fishing Asia operates private Mongolia Taimen fishing expeditions in partnership with a licensed local outfitter based in Ulaanbaatar.
