Monsoon Beckons
The sailfish fishing season is coming to a close at Kuala Rompin for this year. Come November the monsoon wind will not be far behind.
At times the monsoon arrives mid-November but generally most charter boats take a break from November to February. Operators will do boat maintenance and spend some time with the family. Some look forward to well deserved rest.
Red-hot Fishing
As for now, being the tail-end of the season the fishing is red hot. Sailfish is everywhere and often close to the boat allowing better opportunity to sight cast artificial baits at them including fly-fishing.
For those of you thinking of fishing at Kuala Rompin, book your dates early. Especially for the peak August to October period.
Heli-fishing
We are now able to provide chartered helicopter rides from Kuala Lumpur to Kuala Rompin for anglers on a tighter schedule. Contact us to find out more. Tight lines and happy fishing!
