Catch the action with this Norwegian couple in this short video.
This February trip is the opposite of our January trip where it rained everyday. This time, the weather stayed dry throughout our fishing days.
There trip, though challenging due to many other anglers being in the rivers, turns our mostly great. As David, who’s on his first Thai mahseer fishing trip puts it, fantastic!
Watch the teaser video.
You may have seen the photos and read the post, now watch the fast paced video from the trip.
Oh ya, every scene in the video was shot using an iPhone 6S and the video is entirely edited and uploaded on an iPhone 7Plus. I think mobile phone technology has come a long way. Let me know what you think in the comment section.

Photo: Funky hat, big sailfish jumps, PENN Detonator rod and our other boat passing by. So much action in one shot!
Anglers: Phil, James, Sebastian and Kyle
I remember the couple of days the name Donald Trump keeps popping up in the conversations. Obviously it would not just be us as it is just a month to go before the 2016 US Presidential election and a lot of “stuff” is going on.
Here are two videos made by Phil himself. What’s interesting are the multiple cameras used during the trip and it makes for plenty of interesting angles and action shots.
Hawaiian keen fly fisher, David Carr who is based in Tokyo Japan, fly fished with us in Kuala Rompin recently with fellow Japan-based fly fisher – Martyn White.
David is stoked to catch his first billfish on fly including one that gave him a hard time.
Check out the video made by him below with brief scenes of Malaysia. Be sure to browse through his other fly fishing videos including those of him indulging in urban fly fishing actions in busy Tokyo.
Safely catching and releasing sailfish, particularly on a fly rod requires a coordinated team effort. These guys are the best out there. Super friendly, professional and passionate about what they do. Many thanks to Dennis, Ming, Capt. Steve and @juanwei of sportfishin.asia you guys are the Dream Team!
